The world’s biggest meeting of rail researchers!
Every two years, the World Congress on Rail Research (WCRR) brings together hundreds of participants for a week of presentations and workshops to discuss about the last developments in railway research and innovation.
The next conference, which theme will be "Keeping ahead of the curve through the sharing of knowledge", will be hosted in Sydney in November 2013.
25th - 27th November 2013 | Sydney | Australia
Sydney, Australia is proud to be the host of the WCRR 2013. The world renowned tourist and business destination will provide the backdrop for this unique and valuable forum. The WCRR 2013 will see the exchange of best practice between researchers, manufacturers and operators from across the global rail industry.
The Congress theme is "Keeping ahead of the curve through the sharing of knowledge" and our Organising Committees will be working hard to bring you the very latest papers that represent the cutting edge of our industry.
The program in 2013 will showcase an incredible 215 technical presentations, across 8 streams. There will also be the traditional plenary sessions where you will hear the thoughts and opinions of some of the leading figures in the rail industry from across the globe.
On the final day of the Congress the WCRR 2013 will come together with the flagship Australian rail conference and exhibition AusRAIL PLUS. The combined plenary on the morning of the 27th November will see around 2500 rail executives gather together to share in the combined expertise of the mornings speakers.
The exhibitions will combine to create the biggest ever rail exhibition hosted in the Australasian region, with the chance to visit over 300 companies that will be exhibiting from all around the globe. Covering at least 4 halls of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre it will be a shining representation of the standing of the rail industry both in Australia and overseas.
